Hi Lyn

Glad to see you back. I am also trying to catch up on the posts as I've only been in and out very rarely lately due to a number of complex circumstances... I will try and set this forum up on my tablet, then hopefully it'll make it easier to access.

I've had a disaster with sulfasalazine... so am now back on the steroids - plus additional lung trouble - so I am hoping things will start to improve (except I am not on antibiotics for an infection - and so is my daughter - shall I blame her!!!)

We have my 20 year old moving back in shortly as he has just finished an internship - and now needs to find a job or go to uni like his sisters!!

Looking forward to catching up again.... although I do go on holiday on monday for a week!!

Hope the A level results go well.

Anne

It's great to see you back again Lyn.

Keep posting!

It seems to me we don't get so many people posting anymore compared to a few years ago!

I think that it's good for the younger members or newly diagnosed members to hear from

people who have had this illness for a long time.

Personally, I still find it hard to believe that it happened to me about 18 years ago now.

But it did.

Best wishes to you.

Hi guys

Many thanks for your comments; it's good to renew friendships missed but not forgotten. Back on that old curse of neutropenia at the moment and meds have been stopped until the neutrophils pick up again. Real pain in the proverbial but I need to give myself a good talking to. Doesn't do to agonise over things I can't control!

Following A level results I will have all three boys at university from September ... heck, it's like moving house three times over getting them all organised! The twins are in student houses this time so there's been the delight of sorting utility bills, broadband, tv licences etc. ... such fun RollEyes Now we just need to get packed up with cleaning materials, bedding, crockery, clothes, oh, the lists go on ... and on !!!!! Heyho

Ian, one of my twins, is supporting NRAS by participating in the BUPA Great North Run in three weeks time. Every little donated will help him reach his target so if you are able to support any contributions are most welcome. His link is in my signature below my posts. Thank you,

Lyn Smile x
My son, Ian, completed the BUPA Great North Run on 15th September running for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS). You can read his story at http://www.justgiving.com/ianlukewilson
